In Ah informs Jinwoo that Il Ho’s private helicopter has requested clearance for flight. He speeds over in time to catch Gyuman before he boards. Events proceed as they did the previous episode and Gyuman finds himself in an interrogation room with In Ah.

In Ah introduces herself as the prosecutor in charge of Gyuman’s case. Moosuk demands answers from Tak Youngjin who smirks and says that they were the ones who wanted him to switch prosecutors. Nam Il Ho’s surprisingly slow as he continues to ask Youngjin just what the meaning of this is. In Ah answers.

Remember : Son’s War Ep 18 Recap (and the beginning of the end)
We begin at the trial with Jinwoo stammering that Dongho didn’t kill Oh Jungah. Seokgyu gives him a long searching look while Jinwoo stares blankly about him. He announces that the court is adjourned and Jinwoo comes back to reality, leaning against his desk while In Ah cries and Dongho stares.

We flashback a bit to when Gyuman unintentionally managed to evade Lawyer Song’s recording pen and place a call to Soobum. He waits in the kitchen until Soobum arrives and exchanges jackets with him upon receiving reassurance that his getaway car is parked by a side door.

In Ah hugs Jinwoo and weeps while he just stands there looking confused, unsure of whether to hug her back. (What I thought was awareness of the situation returning, yesterday, was just his awkwardness). He stays at his former house, still wondering what’s going on, while In Ah returns to the office and asks Lawyer Yeon for the truth.

Remember : Son’s War Ep 13 Recap (and nothing more to hide)
In Ah stares wordlessly as Nam Gyuman enters. He notes the detailed web on the wall and compliments her on the fine ‘decorations’
He muses that he was put off by the fact that he could see Jinwoo’s practice from his company, and had finally realized the reason for that. In Ah confirms that he is Jinwoo’s only goal. Gyuman wonders if they really think that a video like that (where he was beating up ex-detective Kwak) can hurt him. In Ah scornfully says that it’s indeed nothing compared to his video confession of Oh Jungah’s murder. Gyuman raises a hand to strike her. Remember : Son’s War Ep 11 Recap (and like father like son)
(I know I said I didn’t have time, and frankly I’m not sure I do, but I couldn’t resist checking out the episode and the first few minutes convinced me to recap. The wonderful hard-working subbers at Viki are still subbing One More Happy Ending and I’ll be getting out a recap as soon as they’re done! Because my Korean gets my through variety shows and ~40% of drama dialogue but I usually need help with first episodes :P]
Jinwoo stands in front of the urn containing his father’s ashes and vows that he will prove Jaehyuk’s innocence, asking him to watch over him.

Remember : Son’s War Ep 10 Recap (and I’m too numb to think)
Prosecutor Choi Jinkyung catches up with Dongho as he leaves the courtroom, saying that things ended faster than she expected. Dongho plays the collapse up to Jinwoo’s nervousness but tells her not to underestimate him as he’s been fighting these past four years. The wording gives her pause and she asks him if he wants Jinwoo to win this trial. She tells him to hurry up and choose a side instead of wandering between them or all his effort will have been for naught. Meanwhile, In Ah, Lawyer Song and Yoon stand worriedly over Jinwoo’s hospital bed.

Remember : Son’s War Ep 9 Recap (and forks in roads less taken)
In Ah gets brained by the real killer prior to revealing that she’s at Saerim-dong 33 and falls unconscious. Jinwoo’s not too far at Saerim-dong 17 but has no idea where she is in order to proceed. Dongho gets off in the neighbourhood and fails to notice Jinwoo, taking a different fork in the road. (This feels strangely symbolic)
