In Ah informs Jinwoo that Il Ho’s private helicopter has requested clearance for flight. He speeds over in time to catch Gyuman before he boards. Events proceed as they did the previous episode and Gyuman finds himself in an interrogation room with In Ah.

In Ah introduces herself as the prosecutor in charge of Gyuman’s case. Moosuk demands answers from Tak Youngjin who smirks and says that they were the ones who wanted him to switch prosecutors. Nam Il Ho’s surprisingly slow as he continues to ask Youngjin just what the meaning of this is. In Ah answers.

We begin at the trial with Jinwoo stammering that Dongho didn’t kill Oh Jungah. Seokgyu gives him a long searching look while Jinwoo stares blankly about him. He announces that the court is adjourned and Jinwoo comes back to reality, leaning against his desk while In Ah cries and Dongho stares.

(Apologies for missing the ep 16 recap last week, I was swamped with coursework 😦 )
We begin with Donghogoing through paperwork in his office when he gets a call. Sangho informs him of Seok Joo Il’s critical condition.
He drops everything and rushes out. A second after his door swings shut, Joo Il’s would-be killer slinks in with the murder weapon and plants it in Dongho’s office (oh shit). Continue reading “Remember : Son’s War Ep 17 Recap (and from past to present)”
(This drama is shaping up to be a bit Healer-like isn’t it? That first scene of In Ah finding Jinwoo going incognito threw me straight back to Jung Hoo and Young Shin) [Screencap error fixed, I will never understand photobucket]
In Ah exits the hidden chamber just as Dongho enters the office. He’s mildly amused at findind her here of all places and asks her where Jinwoo is. He’s aware that she cares for Jinwoo and sympathetic to his plight but warns her being here doesn’t looking good, with her being a prosecutor. In Ah disagrees with his assessment, she’s here precisely because she’s a prosectuor, to find those who framed Jinwoo. Dongho has an interest in Jinwoo being found as well seeing as he hasn’t forgotten about his contract. In Ah’s voice turns to steel as she warns Dongho that she isn’t falling for that again.

Heaven know why but I”m more nervous than Jisung as to the outcome of tonight’s drama awards. Having been snubbed for the grand prize at the Baeksangs, I’m praying this’ll be the night he is properly honoured for his talents. I did download the complete ceremony but MBC’s being slow with updating the clips so some videos are missing 🙂 In the meantime I’ll post translations of all the speeches.
EDIT: JISUNG WON THE DAESANG PEOPLE!
The hosts for the night Shin Dongyup and actress Lee Sungkyung (who did an opening song and dance for the ceremony) did start off by telling winners to try and make their speeches as brief as possible due to this being a live broadcast and not wanting to run over time, which I thought was a pretty poor move to make that chances are that you’ll forget someone if you speed through things but there you go!
