[Just a heads up that the finale recap will be delayed tomorrow to around 7pm EST, because I’m moving cities!]

We start of right at the climax of the previous week’s episode. Daehyun hands her the tulips asking if she’s willing to accept them. Saetbyul looks like everything’s she’s wished for is coming to life before her eyes, but something stop hers. She says she’ll give him her answer later.

Daehyun looks awkward until Saetbyul clarifies that she’s not aiming to get to his current status in life but

Daehyun smiles, looking relieved and says she’s waited this long for him so he can definitely wait a little more. And thus begins episode 15!

Yeonjoo thinks back to Daehyun refusing her help and telling her that atoning for the past won’t change anything now. She says she’d no idea what an amazing man he was when she had him [sounds like your problem lol] so now she’s going to get him back [of course, I wouldn’t expect anything less of someone as selfish]. 

She pulls up outside the convenience store just as Daehyun presents the tulips to Saetbyul. Seeing that she turns away and leaves.

Meanwhile, Saetbyul’s delighted. And thus begins episode 14!

We start off with Yeonjoo insisting that she’s going to turn everything around and that they should get back together. She says she’ll give him back the career opportunities he missed. Saetbyul’s ready to throw things lol but quietly leaves them and gives them space (wow I love how much she’s matured!)

We start off with Jiwook throwing down the gauntlet and informing Daehyun that he’s in love with Saetbyul. The object of said interest interrupts and informs them that shooting’s starting soon so the trio head off to the store where Jiwook’s primped and powdered within an inch of his life.

[Hi everyone! Recap was late because I was writing an exam, where almost everything went tragically wrong k-drama style. Please pray that I pass 😦 ]

Yeonjoo callously leaves Daehyun at the restaurant and has Seungjoon drive her. She wipes tears away but smiles when Seungjoon holds her hand [well she sure moved on fast!]. He takes her to a party in her honour and she smiles and drinks the night away. Wow I hate her. 

On the other hand, Daehyun returns to the store where his mother badgers him about Yeonjoo’s birthdate so she can determine if they’re astrologically compatible [uhh, a little too late for that] and he can’t bring himself to tell her the truth so just asks her to leave. He slumps at his desk once Boonhee’s gone, as it hits him that Yeonjoo just walked out of his life.

We start off with Yeonjoo and Saetbyul glaring daggers at each other. Saetbyul’s brought some rice cakes over and Boonhee insists that they all sit together and eat. Yeonjoo and Daehyun try to excuse themselves for a much-needed conversation but Boonhee’s having none of it. Daehyun and Yeonjoo end up being forced to remain and eat and he throws Saetbyul a frown, upset that she had to come right at that moment.

We start out with a super freaked out Daehyun realizing that Saetbyul’s in his house.

Daehyun’s mom comes out and tells him she’ll be sleeping here tonight. Daehyun raises a huge stink about it telling his mom to make her leave or he’ll leave. Boonhee tells him to leave. We start of with Saetbyul’s bombshell to Daehyun that she’ll be quitting the store. Daehyun looks lost for words for a second, then grabs Saetbyul’s hand as she turns to leave.

She  says it’s nothing sudden, and she meant to quit but didn’t want him to get the wrong impression. Daehyun asks where she’s going to work now but Saetbyul sweetly tells him that’s none of his concern now. She asks if he can leave and Daehyun refuses, asking if it’s because he got mad at her and promises raise after raise but she shoves him out regardless. A worried Daeyhun wonders what to do. We return to the aftermath of the three iljin girls whacking Saetbyul on the head. They flee, thinking they’ve killed her, not knowing they were caught on CCTV. Daehyun’s returning to the store right then and hears their conversation. He immediately recognizes them as the girl terrorizing Yeonjoo and whom Saetbyul laid out on the bathroom floor that night. Fearing for Saetbyul’s life, he runs to the store and finds her unconscious.

She revives immediately and freaks out to see his face so close to her own. She says she’s fine for 0.3 seconds until she falls to the ground clutching her stomach in pain.
